Good day!
It's an exciting week! This Friday night is our first big event, with our 2nd annual celebration of India! Authentic Indian cuisine will be served, and the beautiful Susan Talarico and Samantha (Sam) Vierck will grace us with interpretive dance.
The Chez will close from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Friday afternoon in order to decorate and transform the dining area for the evening. Reservations are available, and there will be limited space for walk-ins as well. Give us a call to reserve your table or for more information. 256-2672.

This last week was so much fun!
We had our second open mic, and it was, honestly, even better than the first. And the Irish Jam was fabulous! The band, Flip of the Coin, will be back March 11th, so you'll get your chance soon to see them again. And we're hoping they'll be able to be back at least every month afterwards on every second Thursday night of the month. Hurray!

And remember that the fourth annual Irish Wake will kick off from the Chez on March 19th. Baby Baba Ghanouj will play, and we'll be serving funeral "fude."
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Wake; on one level, it's a rollicking rowdy good time, but on another level, it's a chance to put behind you what needs to be left behind. A honest to God wooden casket will be available for you to bury your past in. Bring what you'd like to put to rest, whether it's a momento of a relationship, or a job, or a thought process, or a behaviour... whatever you'd like to shed, into the box it goes!

I hope you all are well and happy and enjoying the fickle weather of March. It rains, it snows, it's warm, it's cold... it's one of my favorite months because it's rarely the same two days in a row.

Seems like a nice segue into this week's menu, doesn't it? So, here it is: note that we've added a few concessions to the many folks who have forsaken carbs, and, conversely (or perhaps perversely), we've added french toast and fresh homemade cinnamon rolls to the Saturday Brunch menu. The rolls are made from an egg-rich brioche dough, with a caramel pecan topping. They're light and buttery and melt in your mouth good.
